TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
